The crown jewel of golf in Jefferson County, Patriot Hills was named "best new course in East Tennessee" when it opened in spring 1997.

White Pine Golf Club

White Pine Golf Club is a well-established golf club with a beautiful location off the shores of Douglas Lake featuring a wonderful golf course.
  • The 9-hole "White Pine" course is a par-36 featuring 3,090 yards of golf
  • Provides great year-round golf with a challenging course of mountains, trees, and long fairways
  • Has a signature 170-yard par 3 requiring a tee shot over water onto a triple-tiered green

Dumplin Valley Concert Series: Hosted at Havely Farm
From April - October, enjoy live music at a family-friendly venue, Havely Farm. On the second Saturday of the month, the gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the music begins at 7:30 p.m. For more information and tickets, call (865) 567-6944 or email DumplinValleyConcerts@charter.net. A list of dates and musical acts is below. A $5 per person donation is accepted. Overnight campsites are available for an additional $5.

Douglas Lake Swim-a-Thon
Saturday, August 14th: A USA Triathalon sanctioned event, the 2nd Annual Swimathon is a 2-mile individual or relay swim. The event will be held at the Point Marina on Beautiful Douglas Lake and all monies raised will be donated to charities.

Every Thursday in September
Enjoy the last warm summer nights listening to great music outdoors.  Not only will you have a great time, you will give back to the community. You can gain admission by simply donating non-perishable food items to the local food pantry.

Fishing with Friends Days
